John Bateman BA, Dip Arch (POSB), RIBA
John spent his early career working for the Property Services Agency of the Department of the Environment where he held the position of superintending manager of London Region, managing a multi-million pound annual budget with 84 staff in multi disciplinary teams. He formed Jordan + Bateman Architects in 1991 and has an international reputation for security design.
Philip Jordan BA, Dip Arch (Leics), RIBA
Phil started Jordan + Bateman Architects Ltd in 1991 with John Bateman after a career in a number of the larger commercial architectural practices in the UK. He has won recognition for his design ability from a number of publications but very much sees himself as a builder with a design training. 'Architecture' he says 'is really problem solving' and the work of J+B reflects this approach.
Nic George BA Hons, Dip Arch (Edin), RIBA
After leaving Art School, Nic designed large residential projects for the rebuilding of Berlin, Germany. He later joined a FTSE100 company, as a management consultant, analysing business processes. He returned to architecture, becoming Project Architect for a magistrates court. He joined Jordan + Bateman in 2005 and has worked on numerous design led, security projects including projects in Tehran and Dubai.
Jonathan Ward BA Hons, Dip Arch (King)
Jon joined the practice in 2005 having previous experience in new projects in the health care sector. He has since overseen a number of international projects including the British Embassy and Residence in Doha. Jonathan has also gained experience working on listed buildings and historic restorations including Grade 1 buildings in Belgrave Square, Westminster.
